On October 3rd and 4th, 2024, Euro Tech Maritime Academy proudly participated in Naughtica 5.0, the largest inter-college event of Maritime Training Institutes (MTIs) in India. Hosted at the prestigious Buntara Bhavana in Pune, this year’s event brought together over 600 students from 23 MTIs, creating an electrifying atmosphere of creativity, competition, and camaraderie.
Naughtica has earned a reputation as a premier platform for maritime students to showcase their diverse talents. This year, the event featured a variety of competitions across performing arts, sports, and knowledge, including doodle art, short film making, dance performances, and various sports events such as chess, table tennis, swimming, fitness rowing, and badminton.
Our students from the Graduate Marine Engineering, BTech Marine Engineering, Bachelor of Nautical Science, and Diploma of Nautical Science programs demonstrated exceptional talent and sportsmanship throughout the event. Their dedication and teamwork were truly commendable as they engaged in friendly competition with peers from across the country.

A Glimpse of Naughtica 5.0
This year’s Naughtica showcased not only the competitive spirit of maritime students but also their ability to innovate and collaborate. The event, organized by Offing Pvt. Ltd., has previously been held in major cities like Bangalore, Goa, Chennai, and Mumbai. In its fifth edition, Pune served as a vibrant backdrop for stage shows and sports activities, with performances taking place at Buntara Bhavan and sports events hosted at Balewadi Stadium.
