Euro Tech Maritime Academy proudly participated in the Football Tournament held on 24th March 2026 as part of the 63rd National Maritime Day 2026 celebrations, showcasing exceptional talent, determination, and sportsmanship.
The academy fielded a dynamic football team comprising the following cadets:
Ouseph Naveen (Captain), Kannoly Sureshkumar Visakh (Vice Captain), Kovvammal Akash, Vishal, Ratheesh Kumar Abhishek, Surendhar K, Sreerag Valiya Mangad, Safdhar Shabeer, Mohd. Aslam P N, Mashooq Valudoruge (Goalkeeper), Dhyandev Bhaskaran, and Abhijith Vijayan.
In their opening match against IMEI, Euro Tech Maritime Academy delivered an outstanding performance, securing a convincing victory with a scoreline of 6–2. The team displayed excellent coordination, strategic gameplay, and attacking prowess.
The second match saw Euro Tech face CIFNET in a competitive encounter. Despite a spirited effort and strong resistance, the team concluded the match with a score of 2–5.
Throughout the tournament, the players demonstrated commendable discipline, teamwork, and resilience on the field. Their performance reflected the academy’s commitment to holistic development, balancing academic excellence with extracurricular engagement.
The academy also extends its sincere appreciation to faculty representatives, Mr. Melbin and Mr. Jayachandran, for their valuable mentorship, guidance, and continuous support to the team.
